I couldn’t think of how to add the fourth color name into the title but I’m pretty proud of myself for fitting 3 of the 4 colors used in this simple mani into the title.

Colors used are all OPI:

Stranger Tides

Road House Blues

Skull & GlossBones

We’ll Always Have Paris

Now that we got the weird title cleared up onto some nail art! I did a simple striping mani using a brush from one of my L.A. Colors Nail Art Lacquer bottles. I have a few nail art brushes that I usually use but the bristles are getting a bit dried out from all the acetone. I really should make it a priority to oil them after every use (anyone have any tricks for keeping their nail art brushes healthy? I was thinking maybe if I apply oil and then wrap them in plastic wrap until their next use?). Anyways, I decided to use The L.A Colors brush because of this and also because the brush itself is a little thicker than my nail art brushes which I thought would be better for this type of striping. I just did a clear base coat and then painted each stripe individually. I was originally going to use Stranger Tides as my base color and then paint the other colors as stripes over that but I thought doing each color individually would be easier for me to get the lines all heading in the same direction. Sometimes when I paint stripes I get one straight and one slightly diagonal, etc. So this method worked really well for me.
