Chinese New Year February 12, 2012

San Francisco celebrated the Chinese or Lunar New Year this weekend with one of the largest parades and festivals outside of Asia. The parade was last night and it’s the only parade I have ever seen take place at night. It’s really cool because everything is illuminated, including a 250′ Golden Dragon “Gum Lung”. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend this year because I had oral surgery Thursday and am still in quite a bit of pain and very swollen. I haven’t been able to eat much so the pain medication has been making me very ill. Today is the first day I’ve made it out of bed. I had plans of attending the parade and since I am feeling a little bit better today I decided to share the simple manicure that I planned on doing. Enjoy!
